Company Policies
- Returns:
- Items may be returned within 30 days for a full refund (minus shipping fees) as long they are in original, salable condition. If the item was purchased using a credit card, the refund will be applied to that card. The return postage for non-defective items is the customer's responsibility.
- Defective items:
- Precious Memories stands behind all of its books. If a book is defective in any way, please contact us by e-mail or phone so that we can remedy the problem. We reserve the right to ask for the defective book to be returned and a credit given for the return postage.
- Security and Privacy:
- The shopping cart is securely encrypted and password protected by Beachcomber Creations. Never will any of your information be sold, rented, or leased to anyone for any reason. Your phone number and e-mail address are used only for contacting you with regard to your order. We do not send out promotional e-mails to clog your mailbox.
- Shipping:
- It is our goal to have every order shipped within two business days, most often it is just one. Please understand, though, that the months of May-October are extremely busy and occasionally books or cards may become backordered. You will be notified in this event.
- Orders of less than 6 lbs. are usually sent by USPS Standard (Media) Mail. This is the least expensive method of delivery; however, it is not the fastest. Packages to the western US will generally take about a week while the eastern US may take 2, and very occasionally, 3 weeks to arrive. If this is unacceptable, please mark the box for USPS Priority Mail on the order form. If the order will fit into a flat rate envelope, shipping will only be $5.50. Orders which are bigger will be placed in a Flat Rate Box for $10.50. If the order is too large for a Flat Rate box, it will be shipped FedEx Ground and be charged the published rate.
- International orders are welcome, but before any order will be processed, your approval of the shipping method and cost will be needed. An e-mail will be sent usually within 12 hours, so please make sure your spam blocker and/or firewall is configured to allow e-mail from winstongrammar@comcast.net when you make your order.
- Sales Tax:
- There is no sales tax on orders mailed outside WA State. Orders shipped to WA addresses will be charged the tax based on the shipping address per laws passed in 2008.
